Old boats are a great adventure/lifestyle posibility. They are
available everywhere almost for free with bad engines. Who cares about an engine as long as it floats and doesn't leak...
fiberglass boats are the best low maint.option. Buy a small
outboard powered skiff to be your tow rig and supply boat
to get you back to shore ..and possibly your car or van .
Pick out a cool lake or navagable river for your anchored
home. There are anchorage places all over the country where like minded marine live aboard people live for free.
Waste disposal is the biggest problem to cope with as you want be in business for long as a polluter.I've known liveaboard
friends in Fla. who used portable septic containers to dump
in rtv. disposal stations . Living on the water can be done on the cheap if you're creative.
