I thought I'd have the jump on you guys but oh well! I do love the whole bartering stuff, must be the business man in me? I didn't catch the Christian bashing and its usually over the top, so I saw that as a victory... Fun movie and something new in the genre, so worth the money! I found it to be very entertaining and mostly realistic. Only a few things were far fetched, the rest was highly plausible. I was thinking of you while Denzel was bartering. The cat meal at the beginning is reality. I've know people personally who have eaten rats and anything else they could get while in combat. Trust me, when you're hungry, you'll eat what you must. The R rating was for "brutal violence." Not for my wife but fine with me. Subtle Christian bashing if you pay attention but not overt. The folks who visit this site will like the movie, I did.
