This is where I taunt you all by saying, “wouldn’t you like to know!” Just kidding, several of you have communicated with me as to my mysterious absence after a fairly long run with out much of a break in posting… Well here goes… The reality is there isn’t much to tell, I’ve been moonlighting at a second job for the last couple months and it appears that I will need to continue this as the real estate market isn’t looking very promising at the moment. As many of you know, my wife and I own our own business and of course that has its good points but also it can come with the downsides as well… Like being the last to get paid when the business is slow!

   With the added hours spent at the other job, I just have been drained when there was a free moment that I could choose to work on a blog post. Sounds like I’m getting lazy and I am in this regard but coupled with that, when all you do is work there isn’t an abundance of “prepper” related stuff going on in my day to day, this leaves me with writing blog post complaining about how my day went! Since I know we could all spend hours each day moaning and groaning about how much work sucks, I’ll spare your suffering under my complaints.

   I do have a trip to the BOL coming up this weekend and will have the better part of 3 days to get into trouble and possibly even something interesting to report next week on what’s happening over there. Several other posts have been bouncing around in my brain and I should be able to find the time to address a number of questions that have been piling up from you guys. I would like to have come back strong with a hardy “I’M BACK”, but I always try to make a habit of under promising, so I at least have a chance to over deliver!

   It’s been a while since I have implored you all to start writing the guest articles that I know many of you are capable of… I won’t name names – “Jester”… Seriously though, I have had the occasion to correspond with several people that have interesting back grounds that I can say for sure as a Prepper, I would like to see described in the form of a post or even series of articles. The pay sucks but I am happy to share the blogger glory with anyone that would like to take a swing at this. We have been blessed with largely supportive and responsible readers and commenter’s but I of course will only publish articles that are appropriate and that don’t stray to any areas to off color but other than that, bring it on!
